  Apart from the excellent conditions offered, we appreciated the fact that the hotel owners are involved in preserving the local traditions and the condition of the village (some food is sourced locally, collaboration with local schools etc.).   We stayed in hotel krone after riding bicycles from Birmio over Stelvio pass. Hotel was easy to find in beautiful walled town. Comfortable beds and great breakfast. Sad to leave.

  I love everything about this place. It was a gorgeous sight the moment I entered. The room was comfortable and clean, with a beautiful snow-capped landscape scenery from the windows and balcony. Breakfast was a spread for us.
