I stayed in a spacious, comfy and very clean room equipped with all the necessary appliances and some useful extras ( ladies, leave your hair dryers and conditioner at home!). The little bathroom opposite my room ( no worries, for my use only....) was flanked by a kitchen with a fridge, dishes, a cooker and even a few nibbles for the weary traveller. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a pretty good deal for the very reasonable price!. wszystkie opinie »
I have never felt so safe and so welcomed in all of my travels. Owners,
Luca and his mother Isabella, were like family. They welcomed us with
kindness, a gorgeous bedroom and maps of the city. Luca even drove us to
Gallipoli the next day on his way to work. I would recommend this
B&B to anyone. From the outside, you'd never imagine such a
loving, peaceful environment inside.
Kindness of the owner and distance from the old city center.
In all fairness, this place is pretty good for the money. It seems that Leece is quite expensive, but this place is a decent value. The room was clean, and the person working was very friendly and helpful.
The location was not too bad.
B&B Mattia is near Old Lecce (our favorite), but far from the train
station, (about a 25 min walk). This didn't bother us. We loved
walking, and got to see half of the town on our way to the B&B. Once
you are situated in B&B Mattia, it's in a great location in
respect to the city. We fell in love with a little fruit stand on our
street, and felt like true natives of the city.
the building, especially the facade.
This place initially seemed a bit sketchy in terms of location. After spending a couple of nights, I thing the area looks worse than it is. It is a bit of a walk to the center of town. This fact did expose us to more of the real town and gave some perspective, and not just to touristy nature of the town.
No toilet paper provided!!.
