  We had the room with a balcony over looking the canal. Nice to watch the boats, gondolas coming and going. We got a water taxi in front of train station and it took us right to hotel door. It was close to main places of interest. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Nice ambience. Daughter stayed previously with large family and it was family friendly. - The location was perfect, short walk from p. st Marco, the staff really nice and helpful.   We stayed in this lovely hotel for 2 days celebrating our wedding anniversary.It was fantastic, the room beautiful, comfortable,the amenities really nice.It was spacious,the furniture marvellous. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. There is free tea, coffee, and cookies 24h in the lobby and the free breakfast is perfect. The hotel has every amenity you could possibly want. The location is great - not very close to the attractions but less than a 15 minute walk to any of the major landmarks.
