  Hotel Clarisse is lovely. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. However it's the staff that make it a great hotel. They go out of their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you feel welcome. Sergio in particular was wonderful to us. He told us about an amazing local restaurant, found last minute tour to the Vatican, and... co mówią ludzie » even accompanied me to a shoe repair to help translate. I would stay here again simply for the service. - The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.

  Brilliant location, ALL sights in Rome within walking distance, 5 minute walk from Trastvere which is a lovely and romantic area with loads of nice restaurants & bars. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Nice breakfast served in a different hotel, 3 min walk from Little Queen. Don't expect a massive and bright room - b - Firstly, the location was second to none. A 5mn walk to the Pantheon, a 15mn walk to the Colliseum, and a 20mn walk to Vatican City. U do not need to use public transport if you stay here. Secondly, the host Simone was a very gracious man. Very helpful with advice and booking tickets etc. Lastly, the breakfast was the best we ever had in Italy by far. As well as the usual bread, cheese, salami, pastries we actually got cereal and they even cooked us an omelette every morning. Highly recommend B

  Location is excellent in - walking distance to most major attractions. Lots of good restaurants close by. Room size was great, very spacious and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is a b&b on the 2nd floor of an old block, and once you get to the 2nd floor it's excellent, the rooms are large, well fitted out, clean and well serviced. However, although the booking photos show the plaza, the entrance to the building is a steel barred gate on a small side street which the taxi found tough to locate. The initial impression from the entrance gate is therefore not as expected.
