We loved having an apartment where we had the option to eat local food that we bought vs eating out. We loved the view and the cheerful colour of the apartment and the location, close to the Domo. And our hostess Alexandra was bubbly and friendly and we felt at home.

The owner, Ricardo, is the most charming and welcoming host we have met anywhere. The rooms are clean, the kitchen facility handy, breakfast is delicious, and the location between the Ponte Veccio and the Pitti Palace is convenient to everything. The hotel is located in a perfect spot in the historical center. It seems that it used to be an apartment before so it is a bit hard to find but at the same time gives really interesting experience of an "inside". The location was perfect, you can walk to all the major tourist sites/attractions. The hotel was also a near grocery shop, souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants. The Lady Manager was very friendly, efficient and really did a wonderful job to her customers. The cleaning lady was very polite and respectful and did a good job. I will stay again in this hotel

Florence and the surrounding areas. He was also very nice, and helpful.
We were told about all the hotspots as well as recommended restaurants

The hotel has recently been taken over and the owners are both friendly and ambitious to make improvements where possible. The room is large and after spending a day in bed sick, I can tell you how comfortable the bed is! Breakfast was small and simple but I do believe this is one of the changes to be made. We were within 10 minutes walk of the Duomo and downstairs is a fab coffee shop and one of the best kebab shops I've ever eaten at!

Our room was beautifully decorated. The owners were friendly and
welcoming. The breakfast spread was fantastic and we enjoyed the little
extras of having some scrambled eggs. It is located in the quieter part
of Florence (across the river) but you can easily catch a bus to the
train station/city centre, as well as up to Piazza Michelangelo
(tickets cost €1.20 for 90 mins).
