Taxis and buses very close too. The hotel did a load of washing for me for only 5euro which was great! - Perfect for a family with young children. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Kitchen was perfect for breakfast in our apartment. The apartment was very modern and updated but still charming. Staff was the highlight - super recommendations for tours and restaurants; very helpful - told us exactly the fare to pay for the taxi; extremely accommodating when we arrived at midnight after a late flight - we will definitely return!

  Situated in a beautifull area of Rome hotel staff were very helpfull for all our queries our room was on the top floor it was a lovely room ,never heard any noises from out side. All that area comes alive at night with the street cafe,s one which was about 10 meter,s from the hotel had the best pasta in town every where was within walking distance.... co mówią ludzie » - i found the staff excellent ,very friendly and helpful, i would recommend it to friends and family and definately stay again.very central location to all major attractions street on a busy side street if on first floor could be noisy in evenings if travelling with kids.

  Hotel Clarisse is lovely. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. However it's the staff that make it a great hotel. They go out of their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you feel welcome. Sergio in particular was wonderful to us. I would stay here again simply for the service. - The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.

However, although the booking photos show the plaza, the entrance to the building is a steel barred gate on a small side street which the taxi found tough to locate. The initial impression from the entrance gate is therefore not as expected.
