Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.

Loved having breakfast delivered to our room at a time that we specified. It was quiet, within walking distance to all major sites and all staff was great but you would be hard pressed to find anyone more helpful than Rosanna. The lady welcoming us was wonderful catered for all our needs which was sadly only one overnight stay .We had our son with us who unfortunately had broken his leg 5 days beofre and in cast on crutchesno lift was a challenge but we coped and enjoyed the stay in our neat room .Supplied coffee facilities and personal key to get back in for Ah energency .Would recommend the view to coloseumwas awesome other sites wallking distance and we were given good tips for transport and resturants BelFredDrew

This hotel is more like the size of a B&B, with 4 rooms and a lobby in the middle, as part of a larger building.
The rooms are great. Very modern and large, with comfortable beds.
This hotel is only 2-3 blocks from the coliseum, as well as the colosseo metro stop. Great location if you want to be in that part of town (which we did). -

Great location. Can walk just about every where except to the Vatican which is a bit far. But very close to the metro (5 min). Close to restaurant. More of a local area (vs very touristic area). The stuff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is nearby the center and bus station/metro/termini. Very convinient and has beautiful decoration. You can use the terrace all day and night, romantic, perfect for couples or even for group of friends. The hotel is very quiet at night even though there is a bar close by. It certainly is a good choice. I would stay there again.

Merulana Suite 2 is brand new, nice and clean place to stay in. It is very close to Colosseum and metro station.
It is run by Pietro and Leonardo with the help of Simona. Very nice people! Pietro greeted us with bottle of wine and some fruits. We had new portion of tasty jellies chocolates every day.

We booked in here on the recommendation of friends we made in Sorento and we were not disappointed at all. Leonardo was so helpful, when we were at the wrong address, he came and "rescued" us. The room was lovely, beautifully renovated space,fabulous bath. A bottle of wine and slippers to greet us, what a great recommendation. Thanks Charlotte and Mark!!!!!!
