  As many reviewers comment, the entrance is sparse at best. The entrance is no indication of the hotel once you get up the stairs. We aren't sure why some reviewers comment harshly on the stairs... It is Venice and there are stairs in just about every hotel! The rooms are fairly simple. The college age staffers in the morning and the evening were v... co mówią ludzie » ery friendly. The location of this hotel is exceptional! It was a two minute walk to St. Mark's square (once we got oriented) which allowed us to visi - Great location-close to everything. Staff was very helpful and informative. Kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great on the patio. Do have to climb a lot of stairs (no elevator) but very nice place. - Location was perfect. Nice to be able to put all 5 of us in one room. Staff were very easy to work with and accomodated some special requests and made good recommendations for dinner, sight-seeing, etc..

  The fact that was a residence. How often can you stay in a Venetian home? Carpets were a bit rundown and the lighting could be perkier but overall the stay was fab. There is no staff to speak of but the one man who signed us in was very efficient. And I paid just paid 99 pounds for apartment for 5 (it was just 20 euros more then in Treviso from were we started and it was like very cheap B&Bwith out breakfast:/, wow)
