  Rooms were new and spacious. The staff were great and very accomadating as they had just opened this location. Had coffe each day waiting outside the room and a bottle of champaign upon arrival.

  Although this was not close to the train station and it is quite expensive to travel on the water taxi to get to the hotel, it was in a great location close to Piazza San Marco and the lovely quiet area and gardens of St. Elena.   The location in the neighbourhood of the Salute church is ideal. When arriving with the vaporetto at the stops of Academia or Zattere, you can go with your luggage trolley to this B&B without CLIMBING over one bridge, just roll ! The reception by the lady of the house was very friendly and ...she helps you with the luggage over the (steep) stairs ! The room and the bathro - Probably the nicest place my girlfriend and I stayed at during our trip through Italy. (Admittedly, we were traveling on a budget and mostly renting through airbnb.) This is a true B&B, with Massimo and his wife coming in the morning to make us coffee. They were very friendly, telling us to make ourselves at home and opening up the various cakes and pastries in the kitchen. Venice is expensive, but Ca' Santo Spirito was fairly good value for city.

  The Hotel Ai Due Principi has a fantastic location, very near St Mark's but on a quiet, beautiful canal. It has an old façade but was obviously gutted and totally redone inside so the rooms and bathrooms are very modern and comfortable. This was the best hotel during our stay in Italy. We recom - Super close to Plaza San Marco, provided maps to easily find the hotel in such a maze of a city. The hotel smelled wonderfully, always clean, modern and homey type feel to it. The staff were super attentive and helpful to all our needs, making suggestions which were very helpful. The breakfast was great!!!! Unexcpected and delicious, there is great wifi in the room. The hotel is just simply beautiful, modern but very comfortable
