  The staff there was attentive and extremely helpful. They carried our bags up the stairs (yes, stairs, no elevator), but what do you expect for a smaller and quiet little nest out in the heart of Venice. Wifi is free and its fast!!! There's a few floors but with only a few rooms, meaning its not loud; you can sleep in peace, and quiet. Also, the guesthouse is located next to a vibey piazza where all the artsy locals hang out, so - This hotel was fairly close to everything. Hotel was close to a square with many restaurants and bars. Room was clean and air conditioned. Room was not fancy but was fine and the hotel was a good value. Staff did not speak English but were still nice.

The bathroom was clean and seemed new except for the broken shower door (it still worked, but was coming apart).   I made a reservation in this hotel for my parents. It was their wedding anniversary and the hotel's owner welcomed them by giving them a bottle of wine as a present. El ser - the location of this hotel is not difficult to find, and it is near to the water bus stop, so it is very convienent. And with about 15mins walk we can reach Piazza S.
