We were greeted by the owners mother who was a true Italian nonna - very welcoming and lovely even though she didn't speak English. It is a genuine family-run simple hotel with a personal touch. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great with fresh fruit and homemade pastries, etc. The location was very convenient - you walk across a main road and then you are in the historic centre and a few minutes more walk to the lakeside. Highly recommended as great value for a budget hotel.
