We stayed only for 2 nights but we had the chance to take part to a traditional Ischian evening - a very relaxing and happy atmosphere. Free shuttle bus to the beach.   Everything! Once we arrived to the resort we all agreed that we had arrived to a paradise.   We spent 3days at Iris Hotel and despite the weather was not very good, we had a lovely stay thanks to the kind help of Gianluca the Manager. He suggested us some nice places to visit instead to go to beach and we discovered nice small villages with a scooter (rent at the Hotel in advance). Sweet breakfast is good and Dinner as well. All staff were very friendly. Special thanks to manager who was always ready to help. The location is very good, close to Forio town where you can find many nice shops, cafe and restaurants. Also three very good restaurants are located in proximity to the hotel, 5-10 minutes by walk up the street.

We loved it so much, we ended up staying four days just at this hotel. I would certainly recommend this hotel to everyone and especially visiting Ischia rather than visiting the more touristy Capri.   Well situated, a lovely 15 min walk into town. Beach 8 mins down the hill. Clean, simple, effective. We hired a car (40E pd) to explore the island. Perfect size to do that. - Friendly and helpful reception staff, handy for beach and town by foot - albeit a 20 minute walk is good for us.
