  Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We loved the room though a little small--the bathroom was elegant and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with many tasty selections. We had an early morning departure flight and were so pleased that our driver, arranged by the staff, was ready at 4:30 AM. The buffet breakfast, featuring both hot and cold items, breads, cornetti, cakes, champagne, and juices was not only delicious but the best that we have had in Italy. Great location-in the very centre of Catania, not far from Duomo and very close to via Etnea-street of shopping. Hotel located in very nice historic building. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to visit Catania and feel real hospitality of - The location is great. The rooms are value for money but are basic in terms of comfort. They are cleaned every day, the towels are changed daily as well. The kettle and tea, coffee, sugar are available for common use in the corridor. The chambermaid found and returned to us the clothes left behind in a hurry. Many thanks to her!!!!!! There is some noise from the nearby cafes but we didn't mind it))

  We were on our honeymoon and had booked a junior suite, but unfortunately there was a family in next room keeping noise, so we asked for another room, so got a free upgrade to suite on the roof of the house. Really liked that a lot, and Maurulio (??) was very helpful when we told about "the problem". The terrace on the roof was awesome.   If I could give 11 out of 10, I would. This is the cleanest and friendliest hostel I have ever stayed in--and to be honest I've stayed in 3-hotels which weren't as nice (and 4-star hotels where I was unable to sleep because the bed was so uncomfortable!!!). The beds are amazing. The rooms are brand new!! The 8-person bunk rooms have a lovely view ... co mówią ludzie » of the courtyard. In the evening there was music and people talking until the wee hours of the night. You even get a 2 for 1 drink card so you can soc - This place is magical. The staff are incredible. They took Matteo (my Palermitano cat) into their arms. I met so many wonderful individuals here, I only have Agora' 2 thanks 4 that unique opportunity & already look foward to returning in October. I could go on and on about the city as well. Such acts of kindness I have rarely experienced anywhere else during all my years of travel.
