  We stayed 4 nights in a room at the 6th floor, which in fact is a three-room apartment with a large bathroom and a very large balcony. We had asked for a quiet room, and indeed it was very quiet despite of the fact that the hotel is situated in the center of Bari, close to the railway station (5 minutes by foot). The breakfast was good with - We would happily return to this hotel because of the genuine helpfulness of staff and particularly the evident concern of reception staff for the wellbeing of guests. All of them spoke English and we were given quite exceptional help from the young man on duty on our first morning. We were in the hotel for three days and while not luxurious our room was spacious comfortable and clean with ample wardrobe space and we enjoyed our balcony over the street .The shower was bigger than average.   We (my wife and I) were most impressed by the service of the staff. We found they were very welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent for viewing the sites in the historical centre of Bari and the seaside.   The 2 older ladies that run the place, are very-very nice. They offered me iced coffee, on a very-very hot day, and also some fresh local fruit in the afternoon. The girl(Anna), who works as an assistant, is a hardworking, lovely young woman. She waited on me at the breakfast meal. These 3 women made my stay a real genuine pleasure.
