The owner speaks good English. The hotel is an attractive building on the pedestrian Ponte Romano, within walking distance of the centre of Aosta which has interesting Roman features. We were lucky to be there on a Monday when the Son et Lumiere happens in the Roman Theatre. We recommend the Osteria del Nando (also speak good English) for an excellent dinner. Private parking is worth booking if you have a car.
