New, modern hotel in a great location for staying near FCO if you have a rental car and are flying out of Rome. Distance by car to airport takes 10 mins. on a direct, clearly marked, straight route to the car return garage. The canal was interesting to stroll along and it was so nice to have the views out to the Mediterranean from the balcony. R

1.We liked being so close to the airport for our flight back to Canada in the morning. We used the "Hotel Shuttle" @ 6 Euros per person.
2.The orange slippers provided were a delightful surprise and we loved the "orange"toiletries".
They were very cheery.
3.The breakfast was very good with hot and cold breakfast items and cappuccinos,served in a lovely brightly lit breakfast room.
4.The room and bed were very spacious and clean. Our room was ready when we arrived early - a real bonus.

I must admit I copied another's review... But I agree with
it....Great proximity to fco, walking distance to beach with very good
and inexpensive restaurants. Breakfast was just right for traveling and
staff was very helpful and cheerful. The rooms are bright, new, and
very clean.
ALso, the shuttle service to the airport was good.... came a bit early, we were the only customers in the van and there were not other stops enroute to the airport, so it was calming and not nerve racking.

The overall cleanliness, service, ambience etc. We did not use the kitchen or breakfast provided however it was there if we wanted to make use of it. The tea in the afternoon was a nice touch and the availability of the shuttle service was great. We took a cab to the hotel from the airport 30Euros..as compared to the 15 charged by the hotel. If you are travelling by a car, Genziana would be a convenient choice, you can get to Cipro station in 20 min, where there is a parking for2euro/12 hours - you will not get a better deal in Rome. On a working day it will most probably be full, but just stroll around the lot for a couple of minutes and some space will be freeded up for you.
