The hotel is nicely located in the "centre" of Fiumicino village, which in turn is located 3km close to the airport, thus it is comfortable for short stays or early flights. it....Great proximity to fco, walking distance to beach with very good
and inexpensive restaurants. Breakfast was just right for traveling and

ALso, the shuttle service to the airport was good.... came a bit early, we were the only customers in the van and there were not other stops enroute to the airport, so it was calming and not nerve racking.

Stayed there for one night and everything was fine. Had a room on the second floor of the building to the right (not the one where the reception is). A window in the room was facing the wall of the building with the reception, but there also was a small balcony, so I was able to see a part of the see from it.
WiFi worked fine (had good video connectivity via Skype).
Generally, Lido di Ostia is very good option for beach leisure, for traveling to Rome (40mins by suburban train/metro for 1.50euro

After all, you can't complain about the lack of American breakfast
