This B&B is very good. Great location just up from the quay but close to Westport town which is lovely. The hotel was very clean and well run and the breakfast excellent. The room was of a good size (plenty of room) and well equipped with tea & coffee making facilities and a small fridge in the room with bottles of water, chocolate etc. to purchase. It also housed the fresh milk which was brought to the room for tea / coffee making. There was an en suite bathroom with shower and sauna c.

Quiet and convenient location between Westport town centre and the harbour. Really tasty and generous 'full Irish' breakfast which really sets one up for the day. High comfort/value ratio - five people sharing two rooms cost under 300 euros total for two nights inc the excellent breakfasts. The room was very spacious, staff were very welcoming and friendly, and offered helpful tips of where to visit in the area. The breakfast was very nice, and a lot of choice on the menu. The wifi worked great. The facilities in the room were excellent - mini bar, tv, steam shower (not sure if that's in all rooms?), hair dryer, tea/coffee making. Would highly recommend. the location if perfect, half way between the beautiful quays and the town area. The bed was really comfy and the shower was lovely. Very spacious room and bathroom and friendly, accommodating staff. Westport is stunning, so much more beautiful than i could have imagined. The only minor complaint (and the only reason I marked the comfort score down) is that the pillows were rock hard and uncomfortable. So much so that both my wife and I suffered neck aches the next morning and didn't get much sleep. This may be down to personal preference but I think most people would have found them uncomfortable. I should have mentioned something as they may have been able to change them but we folded towels over them to give more comfort. Slightly too warm in our room until we got the hang of regulating the underfloor heating system. No tea or milk provided with courtesy beverages - most likely a minor oversight. Can't think of anything really bad, possibly the location is a little bit outside Westport town, but I walked it in about 20 minutes so it's not really that bad. Can't think of anything. not applicable. Nothing!. We had a bit of trouble finding it as we were expecting it would be down a lane way and not visible from the road. The computer co ordinates supplied saved the day. There was nothing not to like!. couldn't fault it!. We were lost a bit when tried to find the place- so easy to follow guide how to find the Boffin Lodge it would be helpful. Could have had a second comfortable chair in room. Staff could engage with guests a little more during their stay. That I could only stay one night! :(. Externally it looked a bit run down which and brought on a cautious feeling which is a pity because once you are in the house, you realise how much bigger the house is. Rooms were a bit tired - though were comfortable. Nothing. Loved everything!. TV set could do with an upgrade. But that's a very minor issue. Nothing, can't fault the place. Décor is a bit faded TV is tiny and no Internet access. TV had 2 remotes to operate due to switch over from analog to digital. View from window, unit 1, was a small overgrown garden with a dis-used dog house...not very appealing. nothing. Pricey. I borrowed scissors from the kitchen which came out of the drawer dirty. Ground floor passage is very noisy at times. bit of a walk to the westport main street but Close to Westport quay. No dislikes.
