What makes our stay p - This was a stop part way through our journey across Ireland. We had stayed in some wonderful hotels and were unsure about our stay in an apartment. It was a great choice. Not only was it convenient to Galway city center, but to a delightful area called Upper Salthill. Wonderful pubs and restaurants just around the corner!   Great value and wonderful place to stay. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the whole facility was very clean and nice, perfect for a long stay with a large eating area, large kitchen and public lounge areas. I didn't know you could get a private room at a hostel but it was perfec - They Kinlay was excellent! I've stayed at many hostels, and this was tops. It was clean, easy to move around in, centrally located to much of the sights of Galway, and easily put us in touch with a great free walking tour of Galway. Facilities were clean. Printing is free. Breakfast is decent - cereal, toast, or museli, with coffee and tea. Hot water just fine. Either bathroom connected to your room or large shared bathroom. Maria and Norbert are nice and helpful.

It was easy to find, had parking, warm greeting, very nice room, comfy beds, easy walk into Galway and the sites with information provided by the manager. We are two girlfriends travelling and felt very safe. Breakfast was delicious...we actually booked because of the other comments on the pancakes and they did not disappoint . The salmon and eggs were divine as well. Great choice.

After putting my daughter to bed, my husband and I could still relax and enjoy an evening in the living room rather than hiding from her view in the bathroom. And if you don't feel like walking into the city, you can enjoy the view of it from the amazing patio. We will definitely stay here again when - We absolutely loved the location. So close to shopping, city sights and the bus station. We also loved the size of our apartment. Our daughter is living in Galway and we were able to entertain 7 of her friends. She was also able to stay with us for the duration of our stay. The free parking garage was wonderful also as we rented a car for 3 days and didn't have to worry about parking. Last but not least, the view of the city and Galway Bay was spectacular!
