Got a bit of a fright when we went to check in it was a hostel office
but thankfully we had our own apartment in a block. Very convenient to
the city centre around the corner and Temple bar was just across the
bridge. Had a lovely breakfast in the Batchelor Wok next door and was
cheaper than the Arlington Hotel. The apartment was completely silent
even though we were in the city centre did not even hear a car passing.
Not a sound out of the neighbours and had even a patio with garden
furniture. wszystkie opinie »
I really liked the staff, super friendly en laid back. Appartment is
nice and cosy. Great couch for chilling out. And top location, really
central, not in the frenzy of Temple Bar but so close that you can
choose to be there when you want (2 minute walk) and when you need some
quiteness just go back.
Very central for sightseeing and shopping. The receptionists are amazingly helpful and friendly. A few minor complaints could have lead to a bad review but they resolved everything immediately. The management needs to give them a massive payrise as they are the thing that will make us return.
The location was great. Within walking distance to just about everything
in Dublin. Value for price was excellent and would stay again.
Very good location in the middle of the city, very quiet, entrance through a nice garden, safe. Kitchen.
Set in off the main road, very quiet and good security.
The location in center town, and also very quiet.
Lokation
all was well.
Location.
location was good, staff helful.
the location.
The location is great but...
In city centre.
The smell when we went into the apartment was a bit overwhelming could
do with a few air freshners. Had no towels when we arrived so I had to
go back to reception and they just gave me a navy and grey towel a bit
worn. Could not get the tv working so I rang reception but she could not
get anyone to call to fix it so we had to do without. Would definately
go back for the convenience to the city and the quietness in the
apartment.
Appartment floor could be cleaner. A bigger bed ) is recommended (1.40
tops) and the water pressure is quite low.
The apartments were slightly dated and in need of renovation. Nothing major, just a general run down appearance.
The washing machine broke down but the receptionist let us use the hotels washing machine for free, so no problems there. The hair dryer overheated and started to melt, so maybe the electrical appliances should be checked.
If you are a light sleeper, I recommend earplugs as the seagulls make a horrendous racket starting at 4.30 am.
Is starting to show it's age, but still comfortable and kitchen was
well equipped. Personally, I don't think they should leave leftovers
in the cupboards for the next tennant.
It was a bit cold but that of course depends on the season - this year's extra cold spring.
Riff raff right outside main door begging etc.Beds not very comfortable .
The sofa bed was not confortable. Some cooking stuff were missing..
weak water pressure.
Wifi and elevator didn't work.
no lift, no airconditioner, not enough linen supplied for number of guests though had no trouble getting more on request, quite noisy, washing machine was hard to use.
the interior was real shabby. you could see where they filled in holes on the walls where they hadnt painted over.
This is part of sky backpackers hostel, so you have a shonky check-in
and note you have to leave 20 euro key deposit! Whole place rackety and
dirty with stark overhead lighting. Towels and sheets were dirty. Worst
bathroom I have ever seen. Bizarrely seemed to have a decent microwave
and washing machine but that was all. Probably perfect for stag
weekends, minus the dirt, but that is all.
The whole place was grubby , the bedding was not clean . opened tea bags. Would never stay there again.
We rejected the room - it smelt, carpet and floor stained,
'clean' towel dirty (& only hand towel size), more dirty
towels in laundry basket, furniture falling apart, pictures skewed on
walls, socket in livingroom taped up (unsafe?), dirty & tattered
bath mat... Long wait at reception, dirty & violent streets outside,
overpriced... We switched to an excellent 3 star hotel instead for the
same price + full breakfast!.
