  It was nice that the place was outside of Borgarnes, as there wasn't much to do there anyway. The room was fine, with a small area to use the stovetop and sink. It also had a fridge. The shower was nice and big (for Iceland). There were horses in a field nearby, and the view was nice. - The view was terrific across to the mountain range.   Comfortable place, with the feel of a mountain hut (a lot of wood). I had a room with a very nice view over the golf course and the mountains. Went for a good breakfast to the nearby hotel. - Small but comfortable rooms in a beautiful setting. The nearby hotel had a nice restaurant. Very close to a good size town.
