I loved everything about the Opera Gardens Hotel. Very friendly staff.
Rooftop terrace was lovely to relax in after a day's sightseeing, and there was an honesty bar, so you could enjoy a beer or glass of wine and the rooftop view.
Sangria each evening in the hotel lobby for you to grab a glass on your way back up to your room.
Rooms were lovely and spacious.
Staff happy to assist in booking taxis/tickets to the Szechenyi baths & other attractions.

Delightful staff, lady concierge very helpful and help us to plan our days to make the most of our stay . Restaurant recommendations were good too.We had a river view which although more expensive well worth it. The hotel is absolutely perfect and the staff are eager to help wherever they can, also they are quite happy to talk to you and answer any questions you may have about Budapest. The apartments are equipped with everything you need for a short
vacation or a long stay. The metro station is 5 mins walk away, as are
the starting points for all the tourists hop-on buses. It is located
within the gozsdu court where there are nice cafes and bars around. The
artists market is also fun to walk through. The staff helped us with
information on the sights and transport and even got us discounts on
some bookings.

This is an excellent hotel for transit travelers, because it is connected to Ferenz List airport with convenient public transport and has direct connection to the city centre. Everything!!! From the beginning we felt very comfortable! It's a really nice apartment with all you need to live. Students take care of the organization. Dave and Daniel were great! THey were very friendly and helpful getting us settled in. THe apartment was very modern, clean and comfortable. he amenities (bar, spa) were also nice features. The location seems a bit seedy but that is only outward appearance. It is a great central location with a lot to see and do within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent staff, exceptionally clean and stylish hotel, great facilities, especially the Wellness pools and saunas which were a godsend at the end of a hot day city walking. We could not fault this hotel and will be sure to try and stay here when we visit this wonderful city again. We have already told all our friends how good Continental Hotel Zara was!
