Zsófi's house is like others have described - more than a hostel it is like a home away from home. The staff, including Zsófi, are caring and friendly. The location is excellent, just a few minutes away from a station on the M3 line, two stops into the very centre of Budapest. The hostel is immaculately clean, and the beds are comfortable. It is ideal for a single traveller, as the relaxed atmosphere really encourages guests to interact and talk with each other. Thanks for a great stay!.
wszystkie opinie » Nice staff, the guy hosted us in the first night is awesome. The other staffs is also very nice. Good location in the way that you can walk to the walking insland or tacking tram which is very close by. From the airport dont take the pick up service or change money there. The rate in the airport is horrible low. Take public bus to the first train station, then change to train and stop at Nyugati palyaudvar. walk a bit forward the river you will find it in an old buidling. The "Zsófi's House" is recently opened hostel in very good location. The place is clean, spacious, safe and easy to find. Grate atmosphere and friendly owner (staff) made our stay full of joy. I recommend to grab some chocolate before you enter the gates of this majestic building :) + free wi-fi + close to tourist center of Budapest + safety deposit boxes + full equipped kitchen + 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets K&R. Used to stay in hostels alot and this is one of 3 best places i ever stayed at...Spacious rooms with 5 beds tops, price, cleanliness, central position and the most important the owner Zsofi is such a nice and helpful person (and chocholate fan) so i really felt like at home...No need to go to different place!. The owner was a really lovely and a very friendly person to talk to. For a hot city like Budapest in the summer, there hostel was really airy and cool during the hot hot nights! The owner is also really accommodating and did all she could to squeeze me in during the busy Sziget festival period!. I advice Zsofi's house to everybody. Great hospitality, center location and especially Zsofi :)) I enjoyed to stay here for 2 days my budapest trip. But when you come here pls be careful about door passwords :)) house also has a very strong protection ;). Great people on the reception, very flexible and cooperative (in email and in person, as well). Quite clean huge apartment, with well-equipped kitchen, several rooms and 2 bathrooms-showers. Good internet. Good location. zosfis house is simple but in the good way that make you feel at home.i enjoy my stay and love the awesome staff that work there. the location is great and if you get lucky you meet zsofi personal ,smile gurantee... I arrived at 2330 and the staff came down and carried my suitcase to the hostel which locates on the 1st floor. There is a lift however I never saw people using it. So when I left I chose to take the suitcase downstair by myself. The kitchen is big and a supermarket just locates right at the corner of the street with less than 5 mins walk, convenient enough for those who want to cook. And I really like the common room. It is small yet really feel like a living room of . single bed, large room. it was easy to find and reach from Metro. tram rail is quite close to you, so it might be hard to sleep. But we are easy sleeper so it is okay for us. what???. Standard fare for Budapest, you need the windows open at night and the street is loud - bring some earplugs/noise tolerance and you will be just fine!. It was a bit cold, especially during the night. Water in the bathroom hard to mix hot/cold but that was a small thing. the location is good, but a bit far from the night life area on foot. and there's a 24 hours tram line in the front, not good if you are a light sleeper. Since it is close to the main train station, it can get a little bit loud during the night. One of the showers only had cold water. Nothing!. I had to take a cold shower one morning because the hot water had run out. everything was fine!. I had noisy roommates. Internet strength is poor, sometimes work, sometimes not. But staff are helpful and I am sure they will fix it soon. old windows, a little bit windy at night. bed is not confortable. Nothing. If you have a breakfast dont expect too much. Wifi too slow, toilet is small. Entrance is kind of scary. a little hard to find the hostel. Wifi does not work in the room. nothing to dislike. The hot water tap in the bathroom is a bit difficult to control. Sometimes it is getting hotter and hotter. And if you add cold water then it will get colder and colder. Maybe I am the only one who don't know how to handle it...So during my stay I usually took the shower really quickly. it was not heated. It was located close to the main road with trumway and buses, and very noisy to late night and in early morning. The free WiFi was like most other hotel just free Wifi, the internet capacity was too poor to use for any good purpose. no steady hot water, noisy.
