What a wonderful place. Michalis and his wife Georgia were most welcoming and gave us the choice of available rooms. The views from the roof top terrace are probably the best in all of Rhodes and a wonderful place to have an evening drink and canapés. There is also a lower level garden terrace which is also ideal. Very close to all the attractions of the medieval town, but still in a quiet location. Several excellent authentic tavernas and restaurants close by. Georgia drove us to the air.
wszystkie opinie » Niki's Pension is a truly lovely place to stay. The price was budget but the position, views and hospitality are priceless. Michalis and Georgia are the most wonderful hosts and looked after me well. Nothing was too much trouble and they always greeted you with a big smile and a chat. Breakfast was tasty with a lovely porch to sit and eat and consider the day ahead. I loved Rhodes, especially Old Town and in particular Niki's Pension. Staying there made my trip complete and memorable. This is a small, unique, family run hotel similar to a bed and breakfast. The patio, decorated with a beautiful mulberry tree and nice flowers, was very comfortable to have breakfast or just relax. Room was clean and had a nice view of old town, but a little small. The owner, Mihalis, was very nice and helpful. He made us feel like we were at home. The hotel was in the old town, a few minutes walk to restaurants, shops and the castle. The location in the old walled city is 3 minutes walk from everywhere, 3 hours if you get lost as it is an absolute maze! Great view of the city from our first floor balcony, worth paying extra for that. Michalis, the host was very helpful, speaks good English. As can be expected in a very old building, the room was small, but comfortable and functional. Micro bathroom likewise, everything worked OK. The rooms are clean. It has a very good location in the old town, where you can take a walk to sightseeing, shopping and having meals. And it’s also very close to the port to Turkey. It is very convenient to take a ferry, if your next destination is Turkey. The staffs are very friendly and thoughtful. They treated us very nice when we stayed at the hotel. Right from the pre arranged dood to door airport pickup to the last day of our visit (5 nights) the attention was prompt , friendly and very helpful. Mikalis is always smiling and helps make a stay in Rhodes even more special. Breakfast was basic but more than adequate, rooms were well equipped and fairly spacious and location in Old Town was wonderful!!. Best thing was the authenticity of the hotel set in this stunning medieval city. Mike, our obliging host, made everything very easy and relaxing e.g. helping us book a hire car at reasonable cost, being flexible about breakfast times. The whole place had a very friendly feel. We would certainly book here if we returned to Rhodes. The potiiton of Niki's is unique with great view to the old town.Breakfast is fresh and filling.The room was very clean and tidy with a splendit view. The real jems though are the owners (Michalis and Georgia). They are people of quality and warmth and make you feel welcome. We'll be back for sure!. We really enjoyed our stay at Niki's. it's a great location, quiet but not far from restaurants and shops. Manager very helpful and enjoyed breakfast on the verandah. Michalis even made early breakfast for us as we where leaving to catch ferry. Would recommend to anyone. Everything was wonderful!!!!!! Three good tavernas within 100 metres (the best being Pizanos Sea Star). It is situated on a street cobbled with large pebbles which are hard under foot, and if your luggage has those tiny wheels that glide smoothly in airports, sorry you’ll be carrying it!. Nothing. Shower screen was plastic and shower a bit small. Nothing. The breakfast not exiting, but the rolls are fresh every morning. Just a little old fashioned but generally perfectly adequate for a few nights. Bathroom was really small, with nowhere but the toilet cistern (which was incredibly close to the shower) to put shampoo etc. on. Thin walls, hard bed, small bathroom, drafty, somewhat difficult to find. A Greek breakfast with yoghurt and honey would have been better, and given us a taste of local products. room had no view because it was a basement. It was difficult to find and the stones in the street damaged our luggages. Nothing!. smokers. Small dim and very wet bathroom.
