It is a real gem in the old village of Chora (the place to be in Alonissos). Konstantina is a great host, always answering begs and doubts in order to help you have the best vacation in the island, she even waits at the ferry arrival to welcome her guests. The breakfast is unique, with fresh local products, served by her in the terrace and a magnificent view.... The rooms are nicely decorated, with balconies and all the needed utilities. The owners were very frindly and helpful, which made us feel like home. The location is perfect, combining the peacefyl scenery of the gardens with the very close distance to the centre of the town (approximately a 5 minute walk). The appartments are very beautiful, spacious with a big veranda and breakfast is served in the room. We had an amazing time at MELROSE and we highly recommend it as well as Skopelos island

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The garden and the sea view were amazing. The room was well decorated, equipped and maintained. The owners were very nice and helpful, greeted us with some refreshments and a map of the island and gave us plenty of tips and directions. -

This hotel should be rated 6 star given the quality of the establishment and hospitality of the owner. From the first welcoming cup of lemonade to the end check out, everything is perfect.
The owner goes the extra mile by being so helpful and engaging, showing you the best beaches to go to helping to sort a hire car. We cannot speak highly enough of her.
And then comes breakfast! Do not be put off by the 10 euro per head, it is worth 20 euro at least. The home cooked cheese pie and the omelette

Our Sporades trip started in Skiathos where we stayed 5 days at Manolis' house, the bungalow. Styling and atmosphere of the whole area show Manolis' interst in design and his good taste. The garden is great and invites to relax. Manolis is very gentle and interested in his guests. All in all we appreciated the lounge atmosphere much as it is very private and discrete. We can recommend Manolis' house and we would return when visiting Skiathos one more time. It was our best experience of our trip

This hotel is exceptionally clean. The towels smelled like heaven. The rooms are large and each one is unique. The staff was very helpful and we were given hand-painted bottles as a parting gift. There is a nearby park for children and nice balconies with views of the sea and the pine forest.
