The Katina Studios are very clean and tidy. It was possible to cook simple meals, or meals could be ordered from the staff if use was not made of the myriad other restaurants and eating houses nearby. The meals we ate at the studios were just fine.The beds were made every day, the apartment was kept clean & tidy and the bins regularly emptied.

Found Katina Studios to be very clean and well run with Fortini the manageress and staff, very friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble. Snacks were always available and well presented at reasonable prices. Rooms were always kept clean and maintained throughout our stay ( thanks to Maria ) a must when we return to this beautiful island Vicki & Brian England 27th Aug 2013

Location is fantastic! Beach, shops and restaurants right around the corner! The staff was super! The lady in the reception was always helpful and did everything with a big smile on her face! The lobby bar was super, as well as the bartender! Rooms are big and clean, free air condition.Very good breakfast! We stayed there in October, so it was quiet, but I would think that in June-August it will be quite noisy, because the "Bar Street" is just around the corner.

We booked a double room only and not a self catering studio but the room itself was quite spacious and had a good amount of storage for luggage. The bathroom was large as was the balcony. Wonderful, cosy, frendly and peaceful hotel! Close to the non busy beach. The center of Marmari at 15 min. walk by beach. At 5 min. walk - windsurf station. We decided with our family to spend part of our holiday in Karpathos and selected to stay at Alcyone Hotel.
We had booked one room but the owners offered to move to a two-room apartment, at no extra cost, because we are three people. We moved to a very nice spacious apartment with all the comforts (air conditioning, safety box, cooking utensils, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, satellite TV, wireless internet, and refrigerator). The staff were very helpful and so friendly. The rooms were clean. Compared to other hotels down in town Hillside is also a much more quite location to stay.

We highly recommand this appartment when you want to stay in Kardamena. It's in a nice quite neighbourhood but not far from the shops. Location is brilliant. Our room had 2 balconies with side sea view. Not far from bars & restaurants but peaceful at night. Rooms were spotless with maid service almost every day. Philippos the owner is a lovely man. He is very friendly & will go out of his way to help you. Lovely pool area with loads of sunbeds although we did not spend much time there as we prefer the beach.
