The hotel is within 10-15 minutes walking distance of Omonia Metro in an area that feels safe because there are always people around. The staff are friendly and helpful; we were able to leave some luggage in their care while we travelled to a couple of islands. Our double room had a balcony with a stunning Acropolis view. We loved the lift, the breakfast room, the staff very helpful and relaxed. Andreas was very good about emailing me back about various changes to our arrangements and ensuring needs met (adjacent rooms as family of 5 etc) and updating us frankly about the situation in Athens as we booked and were coming a fortnight after the rioting in December 2008

It is a small boutique hotel that is conveniently located between Syntagma and Monastiraki square. It is right along the same street where the airport shuttle drops you off (walk along the street away from the Parliament about 3 blocks). The staff is very helpful at all times and would recommend the best places in the city and how to reach, what to eat, etc.
The price is really cheap and the hotel looks like a hostel for backpackers full of young people, so is highly recommended if you spend one or two nights and you don't want to spend a lot.

I really enjoyed my time at Soho, it is walking distance to the city center, acropolis, tubestation and nice restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was nice and comfortable with AC , fridge and bathroom. The price was extreamly cheap and definately worth. There is free wifi in the whole hostel. It was a very quiet hostel, so a good base to relax at.

The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

The location of this hotel is perfect - easy walk from train station
with suitcases; walking distance to many historic sites that we wanted
