  Highly recommend this place if going to Schwangau. Very clean, friendly staff, great atmosphere with views of the castles. Tons of bikes to use, which I recommend using, for a ride around the lake. - Extremely helpful staff. Very friendly and with good English. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable.

  I have stayed at the Weinbauer twice before over 10 years and it has retained a traditional and personal service with many of the same staff whilst updating its facilities in a modern, sympathetic and comfortable style.   The family that runs this hotel is so nice. We didn't feel like we were staying at a hotel but someones home, we will be staying here again. Plus some of the rooms have amazing views of the castles and they are breath taking!
