Rooms quiet despite train tracks in rear (most hotels along this section of Rhine have trains passing close by). Large shower. No air conditioning although evenings were cool.   What a place Jocham and his family and staff were warm friendly and could not be more helpful. What a great spot to explore the scenery of the Rhine Valley. Will go back - Very nice hotel with friendly obliging English speaking staff. Good food and party atmosphere. Hotel can provide tickets for Rhine boat trip and take you to departure point and collect you on return in the 'Winzerhaus Shuttle' minibus. Short walk to Loreley viewpoint overlooking Rhine Gorge.
