The staff was friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. The rooms were spotlessly clean, attractive and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant was considerably more elegant than we expected. The food was very good as was the wine. -

The food, which Dirk is the chef,was great. We were sorry we did not book for a longer period of time. Quite outstanding hospitality offered by Stefan and Frank - friendly, interesting and helpful in every way. This is a simple, clean and unpretentious hotel offering really excellent value for money. The four days spent at Zum Anker enabled us to appreciate (for the first time) some of the reasons that people love the Moselle - we strongly recommend this Hotel and the whole area.
