  Excellent hotel and holiday base in a magnificent setting. Staff very pleasant and made every effort to make our stay perfect. We had a junior suite in the 'Residence', a new wing with modern décor and spacious rooms, with a large, south-facing covered balcony / terrace; we'll ask for the same next time. Staff is very attentive, we were warmly welcomed, and although the weather was terrible they still made our stay into a warm and cozy experience. Tastefully and warmly furnished overall, comfortable and clean rooms. Restaurant is pleasently staffed and the food is excellent, both from buffet and a-la-carte. An absolutely wonderfull experience overall! Can't say anything less! We'd love to be back soon.

  We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Das Tergernsee and had a wonderful time. The entire reservation was handled professionally and efficiently and we were delighted with the room, menu and decor. The hotel is beautiful, with the most fantastic view of the lake.   Great value for the money in Germany. The staff made a point of remembering your personal preferences. I stayed at 2 different 5-star Hotels (one was even advertised as a Castle 5 star Hotel) in 2 different cities on the same trip.
