  Staff was very helpful, room had a small sitting area plus a small balcony with table and 2 chairs, and all was very clean. The city of Konstanz provides free bus passes. To get them, show your passport and fill in a form with the hotel staff. Breakfast is available for an additional 8 euros per person. It's outside of the main city area, but you get a free bus pass for the 10 minute ride downtown if you stay more than 2 nights. It's nice to be in a quieter area and right on the lake, which you don't get in the city center. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well.

  Beautiful location in the forest - a stunning drive! A friendly, older couple running the hotel who couldn't do enough. Our bedroom was actually a 2bedroomed flat, 90msquared in size with a kitchenette! Restaurant food was basic but good with lovely little taster plates coming from the kitchen between courses! The Hotel is right on the B500 so wonderful road to ride in either direction. Close to Baden-Baden. This was our 2nd time of staying and we were greeted like old friends. Decoration of the rooms is exceptionally pretty. We had called to pre-book the fondue again as we had enjoyed it so much last time. Didn't disappoint the second time round. Already planning to go back later in the year.

  We had a beautiful view of the lake. There is hiking and a wonderful resturaunt, The Kurhaus up the street.   We had a wonderful vacation at the hotel. Everything is very neat, kitchen well equipped and the staff is very friendly. Our son loved the play room. We will come back for sure. - This apartment suited our needs perfectly. Equipped well, free undercover parking, the use of sauna and pool (for a fee). Great for a short stay in the Black Forest
