I would recommend the Hotel Wittelsbach to anyone. It is fantastically situated in the heart of the village with fantastic views to the mountains. This hotel is centraly located in the heart of Oberammergau's
village center. It is within waling distance of many places to shop and
eat. We picked this hotel due to the great reviews and the location of
the town for castle visiting. Breakfast is included and is good. Cereal,
eggs, breads, jams, and fruits are typical. Our room was on the corner
of the first floor with a balcony. It was one of the bigger rooms with
two beds. The bathroom was remodeled and very nice.

we loved the location, the pretty building, the family staff, breakfast was excellent. i would recommend this hotel for everyone. - Friendly staff and large comfortable rooms. Buffet breakfast excellent. - We booked three rooms in this hotel and they were all beautiful. There were fruits and chocolates to welcome us, as well as a detailed guidebook about the hotel's services and town. We also enjoyed the overhead shower which was there in addition to the usual shower. The spa downstairs was also impressive, although some of the baths and saunas were not free.
