  pretty well perfect for a layover in frankfurt. three stops in from the airport is the Hbf, where majority of the city's hotels are. It is also the Red Light District. Many reviews have issues with the area, but this doesnt reflect on the hotel to me. But for a layover, you don't want to go further than Hbf for convience. We arrived at 6pm. We took the S-bahn 3 stops to Hbf, walked one blo - About 100 meters from Frankfurt’s main station. Friendly staff. Super modern and clean rooms; the toilet especially with new elegant fittings. Hi-speed Wifi. Hot drink facilities even in the single rooms. Outside on the streets: prostitutes, drug dealers, mayhem. A suitable hotel for a blitz biz trip only.

  I have to say that the Hessischer Hof is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. All the staff are friendly and helpful especially the head waiter who accommodated us for dinner despite us not having a reservation, The room and public areas are furnished with real taste and style. I stayed for three nights and despite the great facilities and complimentary drinks, I must say that the greatest asset of this hotel is the staff.
