  the manager, who runs the hotel on his own, was very cordial and helpful. We stayed in the Garden house with complete kitchen, beds were very good, quiet environment. Breakfast was very special in a family sort of way. The stay was very enjoyable! - the building was nice and not too far from downtown

  The staff was very friendly. The hotel does not have internet, so I was forced to switch off my phone, relax and enjoy the stay, which is something very good - Great location in middle of town. Good local food in restaurant. A nice 30 minute walk to Wartburg castle (uphill obviously!)

It was my favorite of a dozen hotels (and restaurants) I visited on my recent trip. I would go out of my way to stay there. - Wonderful views, especially from terrace and restaurant. Excellent food. Spacious, comfortable room. Very helpful, friendly staff. Good parking facilities. A bit too far/steep for us to walk into town but taxi was prompt and reasonably priced. We wished we could stay longer!
