central location. Friendly atmosphere, excellent breakfast and location, all in all cosy and tidy hotel, without any extras for a very reasonable price.it is accessable to underground and easy to find. Excellent location within an easy 2-3 minute walk to the center of theAltstadt (Old Town), and best of all, two of the four best altbierbreweries in Dusseldorf (ok, the world) are right around the cornerfrom the hotel. Excellent staff at the front desk... Spoke near-perfect English. The location was unbeatable. I stayed in one of the two apartments which is very close, but not in the Altstadt making it a great base for sightseeing, shopping and the nightlife offered in Dusseldorf, but it also gave you a feeling of getting away when you have had enough. The appartment was clean, well heated and although basically furnished, an Ideal place to stay for a trip to Dd considering it is only a two star facility. Location! Location! Location! It was close to everything...sites, shopping, restaurants and nightlife. We had great people-watching from our window.. Very friendly and helpful staff, plus the location is so central to the sights and attractions. Great position at a good price. Perfect for Altstadt and the banks of the Rhine. Very good location in the centre Dusseldorf and not expensive:). The breakfast was really good and the staff were very helpful. excllent location in the old town. the locality of the hotel. Location. I liked breakfast menu, I appreciate the location in the hearth of the city and first of all the friendly personell. we stayed in one of the apartments, good value for money, good location. was offsite, 2 block walk from the hotel. The friendlyness and helpfulness of the staff. Tourism. i did enjoy staying there.Really"value for money". It's not expensive, and you shouldn't expect extra service or facilities there. stuff is very wellcome and friendly (no English, but my bad German was enough to communicate), perfect location - everything is at hand - Rhine, numbers of bars and restaurants with terraces, main shopping streets and metro station.Perfect to walk, to eat and to shop. Location is great, close to Christmas markets that we mainly come for. Breakfast is good with a number of choices.Cheap room and very good location. Good breakfast buffet. I liked the location, and the staff was friendly.friendly service, good location. The location. The beds were big and comfortable. the bathroom and showering facilities were very good. i have don this from my first visit since 1980. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Friendly hostess, location. We booked this based on the reviews stating it was right in the middle of it all. But when we arrived we were taken to a flat, some 3-400metres away from the hotel. So it was less than convient for breakfast each day. Though it was clean, it was also very basic. We only ever saw staff for breakfast time, and most didn't speak english. We stayed for 2 days and enjoyed the city. The location is absolutely in the center, it could be a cozy place, butneeds urgently a "loving and caring" hand for improving importantdetails. It would be easy and cheap (!!!) to buy laminat with woodimpression. That is easy to clean, to keep clean and avoids any non-hygienic situations.the location. It says secure parking on the hotel information. This was not the case and is availible but a ten minute walk.smoking inside the lobby. As I do in all of Europe, I hate the pillows. Where they come up withthis design is beyond me. You have to wad them up into a little ball toget them to support your head. This is not really a criticism of thishotel, it's a criticism of all hotels in Europe.Pillows were too flat. Only really suitable for two people, unless you are a family of two adults and two children, or 4 adults who are really good friends. Toilet is much too small, the kitchenette comprised of no more than a sink, and the main double bed is very small for two people, however the sofa bed is big enough for 3, if that's what you like.Because of the central location, and because our room faced the street, it was noisy at night with diners/bar goers and in the morning with delivery trucks. Perhaps requesting a room facing the back would have been better for sleep but less interesting for the local color. We did find parking at a lot 2 blocks away for about 18 euros per day, but the 14 euro parking was nowhere to be found. Room had a very strong odour of cigeratte smoke and tne room was not an appartment as advertised. it was very noisy at night particularly the other guests who came in very late and were shouting. The noise - I have heard in my room everything spoken on the aile.only bad thing was the kitchen didnt really have enough dishes and pots for cooking, so this made us change plans. cool city. Some noise in the evening on the street.single bed. ask for the room faces to the inner yard, otherwise there is quite nosy there.Take shampoo and shower cap with you.As there is a pedestrian zone, no parking place there - so if you travel by car this is not your hotel. The noise outside.(drunk people in the midnight, street cleaning truck in the early morning, noise from upstairs, etc) The floor seem not solid, especially the area in front of the bathroom. Everything else was OK but the hotel room smelled too much for cigarettes...freezing at night. a little noisy on the street side. The bathroom. The staff did not speak english, the tv did not work and the check out was stressful and difficult.i did not have elevator to therd flor. Lack of hot water for a shower or even a wash.Noisy, warm and poor furniture. We advised at time of booking that we were on a late flight and would be after midnight, and were advised to just call if we were going to be late, we did call and the lady on the phone did not speak English, so we spent 30mins trying to make sure someone was going to still be there when we arrived, thankfully there was as we arrived at 01.30am. The room was up alot of stairs and the last set were very small and noteasy to climb with a large case. Also the room was sloped and the showerdidn't drain at all well. Access (first impression) nvery low (was better thenm, however: thisshould be improved by an architect!). I asked a no smooking room andcame to a stinky smokers room that was not ventilated and closedwindows. The floor was a cheap and dirty "Nadelfilz", the cheapest andworst kind of carpet one one can find. The textile curtains were in adirty looking ashgreybrown (looks really dirty!. strange smell on the stairs in the room and inside the bathroom.
The televesion with no telecommand,.
