  We were on a family visit in Blankenese so for us the location was excellent. This hotel is 5 mins walk from S-Bahnhof Blankenese with superb direct services via S1-line to the city centre (25 mins) and Hamburg-Airport (50 mins) running every 10 mins or one can also use the fast Bus No 36 to the city centre. We asked for a room to the rear at the time of booking and it was real - Located a little way out of city but on a good bus and train routes. Check in staff very polite and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable, spacious bathroom. Breakfast very good choices. Would return

The rooms were nicely decorated and we had a room overlooking the river, watching the boats and ships go by. Nice breakfast, although not sure what was included in the 15 Euros per head.
