  Location is excellent. We were given 'Riesling' room which is huge with sitting room and even a dining room. Fantastic value for money at E70 per night including Frühstück. Tip: If arriving by car, do not go through the tunnel but turn RIGHT. The parking place allotted is 50m on right.   The staff were so professional and willing to speak English to us. Our waitress Sebrina was excellent and made our dining experience one to remember. This hotel staff are friendly and make you feel at home with them. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was just as good. Very nice breakfastplacement with reserved tables! We really liked that we anytime during the breakfastserving had our own tablereservation. Nice restaurant with excellent food and we almost "lived" in the restaurant garden. We will be back next year!!!!

  This was our second visit. The quality of the whole hotel is outstanding. The style of food is very Germanic but executed to a very good standard. If it were changed to be a little more interesting it would lift this hotel into the superclass.   The hotel was better than most would be in England for the price we paid. Even though the Euro was down to parity with the English pound it was still good value for money. In some ways we're a bit reluctant to recommend the fairy tale town of Bernkastel it would spoil it if thousands of visitors descended on it .
