Great hotel - really clean and comfortable. About a 5-7min walk to/from the airport and 5min walk to the train station. Nice big shower. Includes free transport around Berlin during your stay, so we didn't have to pay for our train into the city, bonus!! Breakfast is €11pp and has a decent variety of hot & cold food. Last stayed here 3 years ago. As good now as it was then. 5 minute walk from both station and airport - yes, just a 5 min walk. Frequent trains to centre of city. Hotel gives a pass for these. As do all in the IC chain.
Really comfortable rooms. Varied and extensive breakfast, offering hot and cold choices.

Stayed in Berlin for Depeche Mode at O2 World, so location was excellent, about 10 mins walk away.
Also close-by are very good transport links.
Was very pleasantly surprised how quiet and peaceful it was, when in our room.
Another bonus was free Wi-Fi and also free to use terminals in lobby area with facilities for print outs.

Located in Friedrichshain, very near U and S-Bahn stations. The area is a bit edgy with lots of night-life....but it still felt safe. Excellent facilities with a modern lobby. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Interesting historical building with an amazing courtyard in centre of the building. Double rooms had a/c which was greatly appreciated in a heat wave. As noted, the rooms are small; however, they are well designed in that there are nooks and crannies as well as hooks that help keep everything organized and handy.
