The owners are very friendly, and they make an effort to understand your limited French, whilst they are also happy to use their limited English. The hotel itself is a rustic and quirky building, with comfortable and clean bedrooms. Located in the centre of the village, which has several restaurants. Breakfast consisted of home-made bread and preserves, which were very tasty. Lovely old converted winery.We received a warm welcome from the owners and had a large comfortable room for a one night stay.Did not eat there that night, but had a terrific breakfast of home made pastries, breads .preserves ,etc,the following morning.Would recommend La Chamberte.

Wonderful, interesting building, a converted wine store so cavernous but tastefully and warmly decorated. The set dinner was excellent; beautifully cooked, well balanced and excellent value, as was the continental breakfast. The friendly assistance; The delightful meals prepared for guests; The genoristy and genuine happiness shown by the owners of their enjoyment in meeting people. The 'conceriege' assistance. Very cute small hotel, made from an old house. A breakfast was excellent, with fresh bread, fruit jam and very good black coffee. Dishes served for dinner was tastefully and very special. Owners - friendly, helpful and hard-working. Ambience - calm, characterful, quirky, colourful. Food - freshly prepared, good quality. A beautiful Building and very friendly staff....great breakfast, only wish we had stayed in for the evening meal.... A very pleasant boutique style hotel/B&B. Setting very pleasant. A serious chef and good value too. It is located in a nice quiet village on the canal du midi. Easy access to Valras Plage and other beaches. Bedroom floors were bare concrete, and would feel better with some nice mats or carpets scattered here and there. Nothing. there is nothing to complain about. Nothing.It was a great choice. Bed room on 3 levels - could be very dangerous for some people. Suggest shorten the shower cutrain. Breakfast though pleasant not really good value for money. Suggest including in room rate. Bedroom rather dark, no rugs on the floors. Set menu at 25 euros without wine!!. Our room was rather sombre despite the warm colours. This is an old chais de vin and light is accordingly limited. Out of the ordinary indeed!. That the room you are sleeping in had dogs in the room, and sleeping on the bed. Not good there was a lady with the 2 largest dogs you have ever seen going into the next door room. There should be rooms for dog lovers,.
