We stayed for one night on our way up through France. Because we arrived at a time when the reception wasn't staffed, I had to ring the hotel for our room number and access code. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful, understood my inadequate French and gave me the codes in English. The hotel is excellent value for money and only a 15 minute walk from Sarlat centre. The man at the check-in desk was extremely polite and friendly. He recommended a place for dinner but not open Tuesdays. It put us in a good location though. Clean and comfy night sleep. Across the road was a supermarket for small needs. Easy access to hotel as on a roundabout. Coffee machine in foyer. Great place for price.
wszystkie opinie » The welcome was first class. The accommodation very comfortable. It was excellently clean. The hotel is positioned very well for a stay at Sarlat and to discover the area. Very easy to find and park (having had some difficulty in medieval towns) and still easy to drive to centre of Sarlat. Excellent value for money, for breakfast as well. Good Location and easy to find.Within 15 mins walk of Sarlat Centre plus the added benefit of Free car parking on site. A nice friendly welcome and a good value Hotel. Well positions with lots around to do and see. Have stayed there a few times and Emmanuel recognises me and is always friendly. Excellent money for value. This hotel is the best value for money in Sarlat, and is comfortable, clean and well-run as well as cheap. It is well worth the hike into town. Just a 20 mins walk into centre ville , well run hotel, english spoken. Petit breakfast was good value. Good WiFi connection,free parking. Location, walking distance (about 15 minutes, no hills, not bad on a nice day, but tons of parking in town). You can open the room window all the way. I know it doesn't sounds like a big deal, but small rooms, you can get a nice breeze going through. The town of Sarlat is amazing. On Saturday & Wednesday is their outdoor market - unbelievable quality for cheese, Foie Gras, walnuts, truffles, breads. So happy. Pick some up, go to the hotel and enjoy. Le Bistrot Sarlat, best dinner, absolutel. Value for money. near station, for the 5 trains a day!!!! also good for touring as the hotel is only yards from roads leading to all points. Good safe parking with CCTV. Sarlat is a super town to stroll through day and night. Nothing. No criticisms whatsoever. a little further from the centre of Sarlat-la Canada than I had expected for walking in to town. Operation of the air conditioning. Absence of a lift. nothing really but mattress could have been better. Just too far from Sarlat old citi to be able to walk in easily. A bit outside of the city and quite a hike from the train station. Distance from town (about 20 minute walk) Very basic breakfast. Small pillow. No fridge. Very limited on check in time. Their breakfast was only cafe from a machine, croissant, cereal. Kind of chemical odor in the room, probably from cleaning products. strange DIY hotel for checking in (after 5PM) and self service drinks at breakfast. Obviously very popular as it was full every night. A good walk into town.
