Although this hotel does not have a restaurant for evening meals, it is within ten minutes walk of the city centre. The hotel could be described as eclecticly furnished! Lovely bedroom and bathroom. very friendly staff, well sized rooms, clean. Even though no closed parking, but parking is monitored 24/7 by means of cameras, and guard walking over parking frequently.

Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Close to motorway and, providing you key in name of road to Satnav, easy to find. Room was clean and comfortable. Typical budget hotel but with slightly better facilities e.g. pool. Breakfast plentiful. -

Room was well designed, clean and warm. In fact a little too warm! Nice bar/ resturant around the corner. Good secure underground parking at a small extra fee. No bath just a good shower. Excellent for a stop over, quite tricky to find. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. -

We were made to feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Loved it and would stay again if I ever find myself in Chalon (my favourite town in France!). - The friendliness of the staff and pleasant manner in answering any questions. Stanislav and Sylvie were excellent and made our stay enjoyable.

It was well sited; inexpensive - absolutely no frills - but it one thing that impressed .... Plenty of hot water! The hotel is a one-star so you get what you pay for.
