  Vincent and his family were so warm and welcoming into their several hundred year old "fortress". It was beautiful. We are American but live in Italy and travel a lot for work and leisure. This was one of our favorite places to stay. Thank you Vincent!!! - Very "country French" -- newly remodeled, private bath, and charming, comfortable bedroom. Excellent, plentiful breakfast; Vincent even cooked us eggs and bacon to accompany the smorgasbord. Best thing: his dinner! (He will cook if his guests request it.)

  An excellent short stay holiday, the setting of the Chateau was idealic, staff were very helpful and welcoming. The walk to Bayeux was approx 15-20 minutes along residential roads, so whilst not suitable for those who are unable to walk this distance, for us it was part of the charm of the holiday. The choice of restaurants within Bayeux is excelle... co mówią ludzie » nt, and there are plenty of places to see. - The chateau was absolutely beautiful - from the front and back gardens; the breakfast room and food; the bedroom was well-designed, bright and clean; the bathroom was modern and very clean -- and the staff were hospitable and friendly. The surrounding pond even had graceful swans and the cutest ducklings!
