We stayed 1 night with a friend in a room with park view. Actually it's not really a park, the hotel is situated on a hill with a forest on one side and a sea view on another. The location is excellent, elevated enough for superb views over town and northern cliffs , pleasant stroll into town, and walk round the front of hotel to the spectacular cliffs just to the south (a stiffish climb up the hillside !). Decent sized room and fair price for the honeypot small town of Etretat. Plenty of free on site parking. Walking around the town did not suggest that there were any other hotels of comparable quality.

Impressive from the outside and even better within with friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful bar / sitting area with a range of art to look at. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely en-suite. The spa facilities were spotless & there's a lovely pool area. The old city is literally on the doorstep waiting to be explored -

We found the accommodation extremely spacious, comfortable and beautifullly decorated. It was located right on the banks of the Seine, and out of our window we could see the ships go past. Very 'french' experience. Madame doesn't speak any English, so be prepared to use a bit of french. I also emailed Madame before the visit to ensure she knew of our booking. The area is wonderful, alongside the Seine and among fields of fruit trees. They have chickens and also peacocks wandering the gardens. A most restful night - followed by a typical french breakfast. Very close to the abbey ruins of Jumieges.

The whole ambience of this small family run business is unusually relaxed. It's the first hotel I have stayed in where the guests tidied up their own breakfast dishes. It is very much based on trust which I hope is always rewarded. First class peace and quite!

Staff was pleasant and helpful, especially the young man who ran my suitcase up three flights of stairs. The location was perfect for a quick visit to Rouen. Looking out my window at a Gothic building was very atmospheric.

Beds were very comfortable. Televisons very good. Breakfasts were better than in other places. There was no lift to make alot of noise. If you cannot use the stairs you need to specify a ground floor room.

Very good food in the restaurant and good value for money - truly 4* hotel-so often nothing like the blurb put out elsewhere we have stayed over the years.Everything was without fault,even the fragrance in entrance lobby was stunning.Breakfast was excellent quality,even coffee was the real stuff-not always given to you in France nowadays.

good breakfast - pity it's not included though - clean rooms - good location for seeing the seine valley, upper normandy and the odd trip to rouen. - nice place overall, pretty hotel, not far from seine, etretat and seine-maritime tourist spots. good breakfast.
