  A very friendly hotel. Staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. They made room so we could park our car outside the hotel. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the back of the hotel which was really quiet. The room was a nice size and had good quality fittings and furnishings which were aesthetically pleasing. Although hotel has no own parking, they offered to take bikes off car and store overnight on premisses. Parking was 5 min up the road. Clean, tastefull rooms and excellent value breakfast.

  Everything! A magnificent building superbly renovated by Christian, the owner. Like staying in a small castle. We especially liked dining with fellow guests being served with a four course home made meal and generous pourings of good wines. The rooms are large, well equipped and inviting. Outside it is green and quiet. Christian is a multi-skilled host and completes the impression of generosity.
