Not far from the ferry terminal in La Palais we found our B & B where we were going to recover from the exertions of the last few months - Maison de Stermaria. In this day and age it's not often that something is even more be - We had an amazing stay. The guest house is situated close to the main port (Le Palais) and offers a breathtaking view on the ocean. The owners were really friendly and shared with us useful tips to discover Belle-Ile. The room was arranged with taste and was also very comfortable. You wake up every morning with a great view on the ocean from your bed and have then the best breakfast of the island! I highly recommend Maison de Stermaria for a good rest.

Location excellent as within walking distance of centre and restaurants, and not far from the hospital where we had an appointment early the next morning. Parking was easy and nearby - essential as we had our dog with us!   The hotel proprietor was extremely welcoming - he made a different breakfast everyday. The kids love the gardens and the pool and it was close to Sauzon, a fabulous little place. - It was a lovely place and the morning breakfast was incredible. Great place to stay - I definitely recommend it.

  The photos do not do Le Clos des Evocelles justice - everything was immaculate and very modern. We found our hosts very pleasant and friendly and generally very helpful. Breakfasts were generous and delicious.
