  It was our second visit and we were warmly welcomed . As on our previous visit the meals were excellent and the local wines were good. The visit was good value for money.   This was just a beautiful stop. The hotel is run by a family who has completely built it up since 1982. It shows as a labor of love. The room was clean, comfortable and appointed in country furniture. They have their own dining room where we had a wonderful dinner and breakfast. We stayed last year and liked it so much we booked again. It is lovingly restored very old building, full og character. It also has a lovely swimming pool. We dined under the ancient yew tree in the garden, the food was outstanding. Highly recommend. - The welcome from the owners family owned were very helpful and friendly madame carried our luggage up to the room for us too. The restaurant was very good and open on a Sunday Evening. We will go back and take our family. The hotel is in a very beautiful setting built in white stone architecture of the region.

  This was absolutely beautiful experience. The place itself is magic, full of history, however nicely kept/remodeled with the respect of Medieval style. The panoramic views were breathtaking.
