Ideally situated for the short walk around the corner to catch the tram into the city which was so much easier than trying to drive in. The hotel was easy to find from the Nantes ring road. We were travelling south and this seemed like a nice spot to rest up. Hotel was gorgeous, staff excellent and the restaurant next door magnificent. Food was delicious and staff fabulous. Yes meal was a bit expensive but the setting and staff made our stay. This is a restaurant to dress up for. Smart casual at minimum! We didn't ...oops! -

Good quality room with terrace opening onto the town square; however we were first given a room adjacent the elevator -- be careful ! - The location is great--right on the market square, and only a few blocks from the beach. Good restaurants in the area--we especially liked "Le Loft."

What an amazing hotel and easy to find in Nantes. The Hotel used to be a Courthouse but has been renovated to a high standard with many original features intact. Wonderful architecture. We have traveled extensively to many countries during our lifetime.This hotel experience was one of the very best. Notably, the initial reception by Mlle Emaline and the other staff members who responded to our numerous queries and provided exceptional guidance during our four day visit. The fantastic design of the hotel with a spa, its central location in Nantes, and quiet, luxurious and extremely comfortable rooms and facilities fit for a King. It was a dream come true.
