Staff very nice and friendly. Rooms small, but very good equipped and clean. Very quiet neighborhood. Good value for money. Hotel full of small and interesting details. Hotel has an elevator - small and functional, like everything in this hotel. Breakfast not included, but we totally unexpectedly got it for free every day from the owner because he liked us :-) which was extremely nice and satisfactory. Location is very good: 1min walk to Voltaire Metro station (just around the corner) and 30min. wszystkie opinie »
Don’t let yourself be deterred by the somewhat eclectic interior decoration, the hotel offers for Paris standards a great bang for your buck ratio. Rooms are small but clean, and staff is extremely friendly and forthcoming. Metro stops Ambroise and Voltaire are within 3 minutes walking distance while place de la Bastille is a mere 6 minutes away by foot. On your way to Bastille is the lively Rue de la Roquette with plenty of nice little restaurants and bars.
Everything is fantastic! The staff are extremely nice!! They also provided a free breakfast at the last day. Convenient location, near two metro stations. There are a lot bars and restaurant nearby, also supermarkets. It is not noisy as the other hotel I lived in. Amazing place in a word! I will book this hotel when I visit Paris next time!.
Very quirky hotel with lots of interesting decoration. Excellent value for money. Considering how expensive Paris was, the breakfast was good value and set us up for the day. All the staff were very helpful and the room clean and fresh. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The staff were very friendly. The hotel and its decorations were quirky
and interesting. Of course the rooms are small, but it is a city centre
hotel perfect for an fairly cheap break in Paris. Nice cafes and
restaurants nearby and a quick walk to the metro station.
All hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they made us feel really welcome.
The location was great, the neighbourhood has good transport links and is close to R. Oberkampf and J.P Timbaud, where there are many bars and restaurants.
Friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom fairly recently renovated. Breakfast and wifi ok. Short distance (2 mins) to Voltaire metro station. Walking distance (15 mins) to Bastille. Probably better than other Paris hotels in this price range.
Very nice hotel with super nice staff. The room were quite small but very cozy and clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was really helpful and mad us feel like home. We can definitely recommend this hotel.
Third stay within 14 months at this nice little boutique hotel. Very friendly staff and excellent location close to Bastille and metro Voltaire. Small but cosy rooms. Great value for money!.
I loved the staff at the hotel. They were very helpful and gave us many ideas of places nearby to visit as well as how to best take the Metro to where we wanted to go.
staff-friendly, you can have breakfasts in the hotel
room-clean
toilet-clean
towels-clean
location-near metro station, 15 minutes by metro to the city centre.
Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and plentiful Metro station was just around the corner and plenty of good eating places locally.
The people who run this hotel are REAL people, warm and concerned for their guests. With a touch of beautiful craziness!.
1. Helpful and friendly staffs.
2. Very near with the metro station.
3. Very great location.
4. Good amenities.
friendliness of the staff - we were always greeted with a smile, nothing was too much trouble.
Friendly staff, attention to detail, practical location, excellent value for money breakfast.
I like this hotel so much because they have very friendly staff...and they help us a lot...
Very friendly staff. Decent breakfast and excellent location.
Cosy, great staff, conveniently placed.
Courteous and helpgul staff.
KInd service.
very cosy !.
Security, staff helpful although welcome almost sarcastic.
Location very handy indeed.
Lift if needed.
My booking slip said " no meal option" but I was phoned to remind me about breakfast !.
Staff were very friendly but didn't speak a lot of English. One staff member did speak fluent English and was very helpful. Room was very small, but charming.
Friendly and familiar hotel with a good ambience .
Reliable Wi-Fi, friendly staff, close to metro.
The staff was very nice and accommodating.
The weather. ;-) Bring some wind/rain jackets any time of the year.
The street on which the hotel is located (Rue Sedaine) is not very happening unless you have a knack for tacky Chinese clothing shops but, as already stated above, Rue de la Roquette with its lively bars and restaurants is a mere short walk away. Furthermore, while walking back to the hotel at night time the street never felt dodgy or unsafe.
The room, toilet and lift are tiny. But it is a good value for money in general!.
We had no problems at all.
Room and bathroom pretty small. Safe not working.
Nothing to complain.
too small room
too small toilet.
Lumpy pillows!.
1. Overall size of the room and hotel layout. But acceptable for the great location.
Room and bathroom a little small.
Nil...
Bathroom very small. Instead of putting a bath in this room, they should have put a shower. You would gain half the space.
The staff don't speak,English the,wifi does,not. Work the
room,has,lot,of,dust the room,is,crampy and,very small,even, in,
comparison to other Paris hotel s I stayed sound, insulation is
poor..feeling of sleeping on the street.
I could not get the flush to work on the toilet. I am used to all sorts but this one .... it needed to be replaced.
There were horrible dampish fluffy mats all over the carpet. Nasty.
Decor horrible.
Not the prettiest or cleanest district but still fair. Would have preferred to be closer to the main tourist attractions. However, the subway, metro was close and we used it many many times. Metro very dirty.
The elevator was too small for pushchair.
Tiny rooms but this is a standard for Paris.
The hotel was awful. We left after two days but would have left as soon
as we walked in if we could have been released from our contract.
