  It's amazing how the staff cares about you. The men that was on duty when I checked-in gave me much more information about what to do than the "office de Tourisme" (which main role should be this). I got there before check in time but could take the room straight away. Breakfast buffet varied and fair price. He gave suggestions for dinner, which was wonderful. He also gave us a simple photocopied map of Metz and drew a walking trail highlighting must see spots. He also directed us to the correct bus to visit our son at his study abroad campus. This was very important as we speak no French and there were few in the town that could converse in English.   It was very handy to the station, a 10 minute walk to the city centre and handy to restaurants. We couldn't hear outside noise even though we were at the front on a very busy street. Parking was great. - Staff is very nice, space are value for money.

  The view of the lake was good and although I did not have time to explore the location it appears to have some very interesting amenities nearby. I really like the city of Metz and will return there in future - Clean and comfy rooms. Good value for money and easy parking for cars. Great budget hotel if you just want a clean room to sleep in.
